Steve's Deli South Congaree

My family and I get takeout from this place very often. The staff is always so friendly and so is the owner. The restaurant is clean, the food is delicious and the atmosphere when we dine in is great. I love fried mushrooms and I didn't even know that they had fried mushrooms until today when we stopped by for lunch, and we've been happy customers for years! Lol! They were soooo good! The fried mushrooms and onion rings tasted so fresh and had just the right amount of crunch. Just a mouth full of flavor! I definitely recommend this place for the freshest ingredients, delicious food, great atmosphere and very welcoming staff!

Staff is always very pleasant. Subs are amazingly fresh and built to perfection with love. Been in the area for a year now and this has become my new favorite spot. Oh, and the cheese fries are amazing as well when I’m having a cheat day. Lol

I have been going to Steve’s ever since they opened and have never been disappointed until today. I got a burger basket and the burger was so thin that all you tasted was bread and there was hardly any fries. The burgers used to be thick like hand pattied out, but now are thin little discs with no flavor at all. I’ll stick with a sub from now on.

Just a good, solid meal. Chili dog was spot on. Fries were hot and crispy. I wish the reuben was made with actual cormed beef instead of the deli meat style. But I understand the cost, time, and storage challenges that brings. Still a great sandwich.
