I stopped by the bakery today just before the “winter” storm rolled in, and I’m so glad I did. The owner took the time to educate me on which bread would pair best with my pot roast for dinner; such a thoughtful touch. I ended up leaving with two loaves (garlic rosemary and classic sourdough) plus a brownie. I’m honestly sad I didn’t try the brownie right away. My husband and I finally shared it later, and wow… hands down the best brownie I’ve ever had. I should’ve brought more! The flavor was absolutely marvelous. I’ll definitely be back after this wintry weekend to stock up on more brownies and bread!
What an amazing place! Bread, bagels, brownies, scones, oh my! Everything is homemade and absolutely delicious. Prices are great and you get more than what you pay for! The French onion, and the sour dough bread and everything bagels are my top favorites and a must try! JJ’s makes bread the way it should be and once you try it, you won’t be able to go back to commercial store bought bread. Stop in and try for yourself, you will not be disappointed.
Stumbled across JJ’s place when looking for a bagel one day and found so much more. Over the past few months I’ve had their bagels, scones, cookies, muffins, blondies and probably almost a dozen varieties of bread. I haven’t tried anything I wouldn’t buy again. In addition to the staples that are always available, they have a rotating inventory of seasonal flavors and experimental creations, so you can go almost every week and get something you haven’t had before.
A very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Many choices to enjoy. Easy access/parking> I stopped in to get a couple of loaves of bread for the week. They specialize in sourdough.
Absolutely wonderful! The rasin cinnamon bread is the best. Bought 2 dozen oatmeal and Raisin cookies that is absolutely delicious. I drove from Augusta Georgia and it was well worth it. Thanks
