When we arrived at around 10:30 a.m. on a Tuesday, people were waiting outside, and the doors were just being opened. The staff handled the rush very professionally and quickly. We had five people in our group, but I only managed to get a picture of two before they were gone. Yes, everyone in my group loved their sandwiches, but mine fell short, I'm afraid. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, and the chicken salad was just chicken and sweet mayo. No celery, no almonds, no grapes, no nothing. It was mushy, sweet, and flavorless besides that. I hear they make their pimento cheese in-house, so that's what I'll try next time.

A great little sandwich shop that you want to visit. The chicken salad is superior and is my go to sandwich when I visit Andalusia. Get the Exciter Sauce with your sandwich if you like hot sauce.

I am so absolutely sick of the attitude at this counter. On a different encounter I literally witnessed a poor woman being charged extra sauce for a salad that THEY messed up on. She was sweet as can be and tried explaining that she always gets two sauces for her salad and I guess they don't "do that anymore". So I spoke up and questioned how they actually were going to be that picky about the extra sauce that they just messed up on someone else's salad....There is only one girl who's always absolutely sweet and I haven't seen her here in forever. Wish I could've remembered her name. I came up to the counter just now and they must've been having a bad day. Every single one of them. Didn't even look me in the eye, smile or say hello.
