Customer Reviews
I decided to come here because the new Chase Sapphire Reserve card has a $150 credit for certain restaurants and this was one of the ones on the list—and even though I live about an hour away, it looked like the food would be delicious. We were certainly not disappointed as EVERYTHING we ordered was amazing. My ribeye steak was perfectly cooked medium rare. My mom’s sea bass and my brother’s salmon were also delectable. The appetizers, sides, and desserts were all amazing too. Zeff was our server; he and the entire staff were excellent. The place itself is trendy and lively. Overall, it was a great experience!
I believe yesterday was my 4th time coming here and every time I have been, I am so happy with the taste of the food and the service. I went last night for my 40th birthday with a friend because I knew it was a place that I could count on for a phenomenal steak and some of the best Aperol Spritz outside of Italy. They serve them in a very large generous glass and they’re always consistent and made correctly which is actually hard to find in Los Angeles. I went with the 45 day aged ribeye and it was out of this world & cooked to perfection. The beet salad was remarkable as well as the fresh bread. I also really liked the cauliflower. I don’t think I have ever had anything bad here. The hostess was very kind and the server was very sweet and friendly. Thanks so much for making my birthday fe
Came here last night for a work dinner. This place is amazing! This restaurant models what fine dining is. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make my experience great. Someone opened the door for we as I walked in. As I walked, there was an attendant at the lobby that answered any questions. The hosts were very nice. The ambience was great and our waiter and servers/floaters came over as much as they could to make sure our table was taken care of. They answered all of my questions and attended to my table with love and care. The food was amazing! I have been to a lot of steakhouses and this was the best steak I had so far. I totally recommend this place and would definitely come back.
We've had steaks in many different restaurants but Steak 48 was a little different. The service was top-notch & very attentive. We didn't sit exactly where we wanted, but we grew into the tall table that was in the center of the dining room. All the foods came out really hot which was great but the price was kind of high. We ordered some of the items that didn't have a price on the menu and our check came out to be over $700 for just 2 people, but it was worth it....we will definitely come back again!
Came here for dinner and it was an amazing experience overall. We started with the calamari and fried shrimp, which were both delicious, and shared a Caesar salad to kick things off. They also brought out warm bread served in a cast iron skillet, and it was so delicious. The rolls were topped with honey and butter. For our mains, my husband ordered the bone-in ribeye, while I had the bone-in Kansas City ribeye. His ribeye was incredibly beefy, rich, and beautifully marbled. Mine had great flavor as well, but it was a bit tougher than expected, and about a third of the steak consisted of bone, gristle, and hard collagen, which took away from the experience slightly. For sides, we chose the sautéed asparagus and the shell & cheese. Both were excellent. The asparagus was cooked to perfection,
