Station House Bed & Breakfast

Stayed here for 1 night while passing through the area. Great value!!!!! It felt like we were transported back to another era in time. Linda was very nice and welcoming. Delicious breakfast- banana walnut pancakes, fresh fruit, sausages, yogurt, coffee and homemade pumpkin bread. Located in center of town right on the rail trail and with EV charging across the street. Easy check-in… We came later than expected and were able to just let ourselves in without any trouble.

Highly recommended. Linda was wonderful.She is very friendly .The rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was delicious.

We cannot recommend the Station House highly enough! Not only are the accommodations very comfortable and the breakfast delicious, but the Station House is a museum in itself. This historic train station has been superbly restored with period decor. The host, Linda, was responsive, flexible, and very friendly. And it is reasonably priced. We'll be back!

We travelled from Wales UK and stayed here in May 2023 as my husband had a quarry project in the slate museum behind this wonderful BnB. What can I say, the hosts were absolutely lovely. I was 10 weeks pregnant at the time and struggling with morning sickness but Linda's breakfasts cured me!! Or at least it felt like the did! Her husband was lovely also and taught us so much about the area, it truly made our trip so special. We would love to come back again and bring our son next time. Thank you so much! We came to Granville for the holiday parade. ( Which was a lot of fun. The whole town is decorated! There are plenty of places within walking distance to eat or drink and activities through out the town to do. )The Station House was a wonderful discovery! Absolutely beautiful, decorated throughout almost like a Hallmark movie for the holiday. Little touches everywhere. Our room was the Sidecar and was located directly across from a nice large bathroom. Our bed was very comfy, and the heat pump was great, allowing us to lower the temp at night. There were towels and extra blankets. Even a small extra table for my husband's CPAP machine. The place was sold out,but we never heard anyone until the next morning. This place is also immaculate!
