HARASSMENT & PREDATORY TRAP - PARENTS BEWARE If you care about your child's well-being, stay far away from this agency. They operate less like a talent agency and more like a bully. They have a draconian "Booking Out" policy designed to trap you. If you forget to block out a single day on their confusing calendar system, they claim they "own" your child's time for that day. They recently tried to force us to take a job that was miles away for pennies. When we said NO—because the travel was ridiculous for a baby—they told us we "couldn't reject it" because we hadn't blocked the date. They literally told us: "This is not the time for you to decide whether you can make it." Excuse me? As a parent, it is ALWAYS my time to decide if my child works. Photographers — stay away from this agency. Never do test shoots for them. My experience was extremely negative. The agents were unprofessional and dishonest, and their communication felt more like bullying than professionalism. The models never posted or credited the work. This was the first time I’ve ever dealt with an agency like this. Working with them was nothing but drama. This agency by far was the worst I’ve experienced in New York and absolutely not worth your time.

My review is based only on the submission and onboarding experience. I have to say it was the BEST experience I have had with an agency out of all the ones I have submitted for on behalf of my daughter. I submitted through their website and about a week and a half of two I received an email requesting a few more photos. I sent the photos as requested and the owner was very kind and straightforward in explaining everything. Absolutely no fees were requested unlike some other agencies. The onboarding process was super easy with instructions and clips from the staff. I have absolutely nothing to complain about and I am looking forward to working with this agency

If you’re looking for an agency that will age your child out of their career before landing a single project, then this is the place for you. Even if you’re told that you “don’t understand how the business works,” trust me—you can achieve far more for your child on your own than with an agency like this. This agency does little beyond keeping you busy with endless paperwork and expenses for their “recommended” photographer and hairstylist, only to leave you waiting… and waiting. For context, after we terminated our contract with this so-called agency (whose apparent main job is maintaining an Instagram feed) just two months in, our child went on to participate in 15 projects and star in a feature film currently screening at an international festival. FREE ADVICE FROM A VETERAN MODEL (I’ve been there and I feel you. 🫶🏼) After reading most of the reviews (curious about the negative ones) it supports the thought that people are often quick to complain when things don't go as planned I've been in the industry 18+ years. Currently w/STATE for 10. I submitted on/off for years before signing my first contract with Wilhelmina. There's only X amount of hours for them to see 20-40+ prospects. So.... YOU'RE ONLY AS GOOD AS YOUR WORST PICTURE. Advice given to me at a go-see. Make them all count. More photos doesn’t mean more experience. Have a few solid photos.
