Worst Starbucks experience. The barista didn’t greet me, didn’t explain anything, and barely communicated at all. I felt like I was inconveniencing him just by ordering. Customer service matters, especially when you’re paying $7 for a drink. Won’t be coming back to this location. GUY WITH CURLY HAIR COVERING HIS FACE BTW.

Matcha nearly undrinkable. To my understanding you’re supposed to mix the powder into hot water so it doesn’t clump up. Seems they didn’t mix it at all. Would understand more if there was more than 4 people there and it was actually busy but this is just lazy.

This is how they gave us our mobile orders… not only were they all missing the cold foam on top but the drinks were HALF-WAY filled. And the matchas were DISGUSTING! The powder was floating on top because they didn’t even blend it properly. We spent over $70 only to get disgusting, improperly prepared drinks that were halfway filled.

The Starbucks in Succasunna is one of the most reliable locations I’ve been to. My mobile orders are almost always ready right on time, and on the rare occasions they’re not, it’s completely understandable this is a busy and very popular store. The drinks and food come out consistently correct, and the team really takes pride in what they do. They’re friendly, patient, and always willing to customize orders or offer great suggestions if you want to try something new. Special shoutout to Jazzy, for keeping everything running smoothly and creating such a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend this location!

I’m not sure whether this is a franchise issue or specific to management at this location, but service is consistently very slow. There are frequent days when mobile ordering is shut off and the in-house café is closed, while the drive-through line is extremely long. As a manager myself, I know that proper staffing and preparation are the responsibility of leadership, and this has been an ongoing issue here. This location is likely losing a significant amount of revenue operating this way. I understand short-term challenges while a team gets back on its feet, but this has been a consistent problem for over a year.
