We stop here every time we’re in the area (which is about weekly) and there’s always something new to try. The assortment of cookies and pastries and gourmet foods feels endless. I have yet to not like anything here. We always grab a box of cookies, and maaaaaybe some small desserts. But I always come here for dessert if I have a party or get together to go to. You can’t go wrong, it’s the best bakery in the area. From soups, to fresh baked breads and cakes, focaccia/pizza, Italian dinners to go, cookies and strombolis. They have it all.

Never have I been to a bakery with so many unnecessary stipulations. I went in to order a 1/4 sheet cake for a birthday party three days away. First, the male representative said he needed to check whether that was enough time to make it. Fine. He confirmed it was. So far, so good. Then I requested a cake with half strawberry whipped cream filling and the other half lemon. The female representative immediately said they could not do that due to store policy. Instead, she insisted I would need a 10 inch round three layer cake with one layer lemon and another strawberry whipped cream. I explained that I could not do that because one of my guests is allergic to lemon. She still refused and said they could not accommodate the request. This is now the second time I have gone into this baker

If you're looking for authentic baked goods, this the place. I love the carrot cake and mousse. They even have a few gluten-free options. Most items are baked in house. Everything is good and service is fantastic. Great bakery. Highly recommended.

An absolute staple of Roxbury. The best there is when it comes to Italian, sandwiches, or most importantly……. Baked goods. You don’t need calandras bread from ShopRite, you don’t even need to drive to Caldwell or Fairfield. We got a better bakery right here in town. Not only will you go there for cannolis and tri-color, but once you have a sandwhich from the deli, you’ll see what I mean. Thank goodness for Giancarlo’s. THIS is where you wanna be. And many agree, it’s always busy there at peak times. There’s a reason there’s a line out the door and around the building on Christmas Eve, let’s put it that way. You can’t get better pastries than here. GO HERE!!!!

Awesome old school Italian bakery! I wanted 2 of everything they had and they had everything. Every bake good you can think of they have. They also have pasta sides , pizzas , soup, chicken cutlets , fresh breads, pies, cakes , cookies. They make sandwiches, wraps , breakfast !! I think this is my new favorite place. The pizzas are amazing ! I’ll be back to try everything.
