Maybe it just quiet time around 12pm, some staffs inside and Maggie just was ready to get our order, so it was quick stop. We’re inside about 10 min and noticed some online order bags ready to pick up. New pistachio cake was our fave also coffee taste just perfect.

It doesn’t matter how far in advance you place a mobile order, you will still be waiting once you arrive. I place my order before I reach San Pablo Dam Rd almost 7mi away on I-80 and will arrive to find no other cars in line and maybe one person in the lobby, yet they haven’t started to prepare my order. The whole point of ordering ahead is to not wait, yet I wait every single time at 5:40am when no one else is there.

Don’t walk in, you’ll get ignored. A simple order for one flat white took 11 minutes to be made, then was marked ready 3 minutes before actually appearing. Total 15 minutes for a simple flat white. Staff ignored me when— twice— I cheerfully called out ‘my order’s marked ready but not here?’ They rolled their eyes or laughed with each other both times. Finally one guy found my drink on a back counter and plopped it down in front of me. It was a little cold but I just wanted to get out of there. Flat white was improperly made, wayyy too much milk. Staff borderline rude especially the one taking the orders at the register.

I only did the drive-through. It was raining and there was a huge line. I walked inside and watched an exceptionally talented and well oiled machine of kind people process lots of different orders. It was very impressive.

Staff always great, friendly and personable- they get to know the regulars, which I appreciate. Only problem I had with the food is getting sick after eating the sausage wrap. The drive thru and inside lines have been moving a LOT quicker (thank you)! The drinks lately, horrible. I see new maybe seasonal employees, so I understand mistakes to be made. My mocha tasted and looked like hot coffee water, like when u clean out your coffee maker. I got another one weeks later that was also watery and taste like a liquid sweetener, instead of thicker from the milk- watered down now to save money?
