Customer Reviews
Such a cozy, upscale New York restaurant kinda vibe. Food and drinks were excellent — could easily come just for the small plates alone! The French onion soup was a hit, and the house-made honey mustard was perfection. Service is a refreshing change from Canton. Sweet potatoe cheesecake is a must! I know it sounds weird. It's good
This was our third time at Spruce + Ash and it did not disappoint! It’s hard to find a place that is consistently exceeding your expectations, so we are thankful to have found that at Spruce + Ash. This time we ordered the cornbread waffle, deconstructed potato skins, steakhouse burger, and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. The cornbread waffle was warm, buttery, and the right amount of sweetness to start off your meal. We followed it with the deconstructed potato skins to balance it out and appreciated being able to share this without the mess of traditional potato skins. The purple potatoes mixed in were a nice touch! My favorite item was the Nashville hot chicken sandwich - it was the PERFECT amount of crispiness and crunch, then the dill ranch and pickles gave it the perfect flav
The food and service was amazing. Very much enjoyed my poutine, espresso martini, and short rib. The leftovers of which were still delicious the next day. Our waitress was friendly and took care of us. The outdoor tables are also wonderful especially with the nice tufts of grass and scenic Riley Park nearby. The tables outside were right next to one another, so when another group sat next to us it was a bit annoying. Aside from that I'll looking forward to many a future visit.
Great food! Short ribs and steak frites were super good! Had the midnight Manhattan and ocean cocktail. Both were good. I'd highly recommend checking this out. Staff was really good as well.
Great space to have food and drinks. We really enjoyed the cocktails, menu, and design of the restaurant. Cocktails weren't overpriced but tasted great. El Sol was killer good. Food was amazing and portions didn't disappoint. Only negative feedback would be it seemed a bit loud indoors, but that may have been a product of the intimate seating and smaller indoor space.
