Apothecary Espresso and Coffee

Hands down my favorite coffee spot in downtown Farmington! From the moment you walk in, the ambience feels warm, cozy, and relaxing. It’s the perfect place to unwind, meet a friend, or just enjoy a quiet moment with a great cup of coffee. I absolutely love the cute little gift shop inside such a thoughtful touch that makes the experience even more special. But the most important thing is the service. The people here are absolutely wonderful. Three weeks ago, I shared an improvement idea, and not only did they implement it, but they remembered my name when I came back. That meant so much to me and truly made me feel valued and special. Great coffee, beautiful atmosphere, and exceptional service. You won’t be disappointed!

Maybe it was an off day? I came in Sunday morning around 10. Normal sized coffee crowd. It took literally 30 minutes for my drink. There were about 6-8 people also waiting for their drink and we were all kinda looking around like…ummm what is taking them so long? There were two barista’s and a cashier, so no staff shortage. No super complex orders. Maybe they were nervous with us all watching and waiting anxiously for caffeine? I think some serious training and management oversight is needed to help their staff be more efficient and timely with drink orders. I’m all about supporting my local baristas, but when I say I wish I could take back that tip I gave at the register, I mean it.…probably not going to try this place again, even though their space is beautiful and the menu is creative.

I am on a mission to find my favorite coffee spot. My criteria is nice atmosphere (the less industrial the better), great coffee, great service, and real mugs. Apothecary almost hits all of these. Definitely great service and coffee and real mugs. On the atmosphere, I would prefer more of thos plush sofas, less tables. But definitely worth going again.

I've been a patron of Apothecary since it opened in 2022. I had just moved to the area from Utah and was hoping for a cozy spot to work outside of my house. I was thrilled to find Apothecary! The owner was so friendly and welcoming, and the batch brew coffee was excellent. This place continues to be my go-to when I need to get out of the house and get work done. I meet up with friends here as well. The atmosphere is cozy and the baristas are friendly and hard working. It gets a little crowded at certain times of the day, but the management has worked hard at adjusting staffing to take care of orders during those busy times.Try it out! You won't regret it.

This is my favorite coffee shop in Farmington! Amazing coffee, nice ambiance. Has the best dirty chai I have ever tried which became such a favorite of mine I now make it at home. I noticed all the drinks are better hot for some reason so get them hot! They also have a rewards program that gets you free drinks so if you’re in the area and come often thats nice. Can’t talk about their coffee enough, honey comb and lavender fields are great. It’s amazing to have spots like these locally!
