Spotted Cow Cafe & Grill

We had an amazing lunch (read feast) at the Spotted Cow. Started with a fish soup and butternut squash soup - and butternut squash home fries! Delicious! Turkey club (I subbed grilled chicken instead) and steak and chicken skewers. Everything was perfect - timing excellent. We were relaxed and not rushed but also checked up on regularly. It was really perfect. Our experience was further enhanced to be pleasantly surprised with a family run business. It is so refreshing to come across an establishment that truly continues to take pride in their work and value customers. Definitely a repeat spot! Oh! And the desserts are homemade as well and absolutely worth every calorie!

We had an amazing meal here on our quick weekend getaway from the city. The food and the service were spectacular. If you want NYC quality cuisine in the charm of the Catskills the Spotted Cow is a must.

The Spotted Cow Café in Roscoe is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home — incredibly welcoming and helpful, even with our large party. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The food? Simply outstanding. It honestly beats any diner within 100 miles of the area. If you’ve been to the Roscoe Diner, I highly recommend skipping it this time and coming here instead — you’ll be glad you did. The blueberry pancakes are to die for: fluffy, fresh, and loaded with blueberries. Pair that with one of their specialty coffees (they have a huge variety) and you’ve got the perfect meal. This spot is cozy, charming, and truly delivers on both food and service. If you’re in Roscoe or just passing through, make sure to stop at the Spot

I stopped at Roscoe for gas on my way back to Manhattan and discovered a cute little hamlet with a fantastic restaurant called The Spotted Cow. The interior is lovely. The service is excellent. I had the world’s best gyro at The Spotted Cow. I lived in Athens for a month so I feel confident saying that. Great place. Highly recommend.

The Spotted Cow Cafe and Grill is a true gem in the Catskills located one minute off NY Route 17 - at exit 94 - on 43 Stewart Ave, Roscoe, NY. The food is five star, the service is five star, and the atmosphere is five star. If you are in that area or passing through, this stop is a must! Try it once and you will be back again and again!
