We came here to celebrate the Lunar New Year and everything was delicious! The ambiance is intimate and friendly, nice service, and great vegan buns, noodles, and tofu! 10/10 can't wait to return!
This is another MUST stop when I’m in New York. This is actually some of the best food I have ever had, it never disappoints. The King Pao and General Tso “chicken” are my go tos but throw in some lo mein and appetizers and you’re in heaven! The portions are huge and great for sharing. HIGHLY recommend reservations, the place is small and gets very busy!
Follow me @theblackgirlatleisure for more reviews and lifestyle content ✨ Recently I’ve been on a vegan diet and thinking of exploring some lifestyle changes to improve my overall health and wellness. So, I decided to give Spicy Moon a try after looking up the best vegan food in NYC. This visit comes after years of not dining at a vegan restaurant and you can understand how exciting it was. Spicy Moon did not disappoint! Check out my full review below. Drinks: 8/10 I ordered the Raspberry Lime Spritz, it was really good and wasn’t too sweet! It gave what it was supposed to have gave. A cute little mocktail that was delightfully refreshing. Service: 10/10 When we came in we were greeted immediately and we were able to pick our own seats. The server was really quick with taking our orders
We Love Spicy Moon! The East Village location staff were super friendly and the food was great. The wontons in chili oil were our favorite this time, but literally every plate we had was good - you can’t go wrong. All vegan but this is a place that omnivores and everyone will love! This location is a bit small (compared to Bowery location), but still nice vibes. Prices are great as well - this will always be in our regular rotation 🌶️🌙
If you're looking for a place that truly delivers flavor, service, and atmosphere, look no further. Every dish was bursting with taste — the kind of flavors that make you pause mid-bite just to appreciate what’s happening. The staff was incredibly attentive and genuinely friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The vibes were perfect: warm, energetic, and inviting without ever feeling overwhelming. This is the kind of spot that doesn’t just serve food — it creates an experience. Highly recommend!
