Spice Kraft ( Alexandria )

To start with Bill was super friendly and gave great suggestions. We tried the lentil soup to start and it was wonderful and fresh tasting. We ordered the mixed grill and Biryani with lamb. On the side we added the GF naan. It was all so delicious, we ate ourselves into a coma. 😆 I wanted to try the dessert so bad, but we were so stuffed. Awesome place to have a special Indian meal! Came back to add that I went back for the cardamom & mango cheesecake and it was sooo nice! With chamomile tea ☕️ We left unable to breathe but it was worth it 😆

We really enjoyed this place. We tried 4 of the $5 happy hour specials. All were good. Small location but clean. Service was good. I would definitely recommend this place.

This place is amazing! The attentive staff, the delicious flavors, the $5 happy hour drinks...it's the best Indian food around. Be sure to make a reservation as seating can be limited, especially on weekends. Definitely check out this restaurant...10 stars. ⭐

I finally tried Spice Kraft when they had a booth at Art on the Avenue in Del Ray (Alexandria) last fall. I normally don't like Indian food; but I don't eat much meat and their dishes are really good. I was added to their e-mail list; and I first received a notification about a special they were running for Alexandria Restaurant Week. It was such a great value and so delicious that I went ahead and ordered when they sent a notification about their Valentine's Dinner Special. I love that Spice Kraft makes their specials available for one or for two and for dine-in or pick-up. I've only done pick-up. The meals have been ready on time and well-packaged. For example, if you order a drink, they wrap it tightly to avoid spills and leaks. If you have a cold/chilled dessert, they attach it
