Spencer's Pizza

I stopped into Spencer’s Pizza & Subs in Abington and was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. The place has that classic old-school pizzeria feel - warm wood booths, framed sports memorabilia all over the walls (lots of Red Sox and Larry Bird nods), and a relaxed, friendly vibe. I ordered the steak and cheese sub, and it was amazing - one of the best I’ve had in a very long time. Perfectly cooked steak, melty cheese, soft bread… everything just hit right. I couldn’t finish so I wrapped the rest to enjoy later. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and craving a great sub in a nostalgic local spot.

Called to order pizzas. Was told they only have bar style, when I got there to pick up my order people were walking out with large size, make it make sense. Besides that the food is great here. Will def order again.

Oh I was just checking to make sure they're still around, their pizza is awesome!! Used to eat here and opened up when I was a teen! In my 50s now man it's so good!! I'm craving it right now!

Becoming hit or miss- someone keeps burning /over cooking the pizzas. Scroll down and look at other pictures in the reviews that’s how it used to be consistently. Once overcooked/partially burnt- the cheese is no longer pizza cheese, it crispy cheese and over all pie is super dry. The cheese just comes off in one stiff lump. Crust is hard as a rock and tastes like its days old. We gave friendly feedback after like the 5th time- they were very kind and gave us 2 free pies. I didn’t care about that -actually we placed several orders until we asked to use it. This time we were told we asked for it well done (false) and then they stated it wasn’t over done.
