Abington Public Library

We love the Abington library! There's always some sort of activity going on wether it's for kids or adults. All the staff are so nice and helpful!

Well maintained and well stocked library, they have a children's room. Teen's room as well as a great selection of books to read and borrow.

I have been approached by a person who thinks she owns the so called public library and made aware that my son for no reason other than existe is not welcome on the building for about 30 minutes on daily basis. The building is very nice and most stuff is great. But bad apples existe, disappointing honestly, I guess my taxes are not as good as everyone else.

The library is staffed with welcoming people who are happy to assist but also leave patrons to explore on their own. The library is set in a lovely building, in the same area as Town Hall. There is plenty of parking, nice outdoor benches, clean bathrooms inside, and trees surrounding the parking area. The available books and other media is impressive for a small town. Plus the library participates in the OCLN so patrons can access resources from multiple libraries. I highly recommend the Abington Library as a wonderful resource for all.
