Sparta Carnegie Township Library

Great library! Took two grandsons in to enjoy some reading time. I had never been in before was so impressed! Clean children’s area with so many interactive activities that are fun and encourage their imagination! Loved that it also had limited exits. I might not be as quick as I used to be. After enjoying several books, puzzles and activities a sweet library attendant came by just to say hello and let us know about a free book give away and other future activities. I made some precious memories and the boys had a great time. Well done Sparta library! I have been to bigger libraries, in many areas but they could take a note from you on how to do it great! Thank you!

Nice library, good views, nearby park. Atrium inside.

We love this library! The ladies are so helpful and order any book they don't have but we want to read! Right now we are doing the summer reading program and it's keeping the little ones with their noses in books instead of watching TV all day. Oh, and we really enjoy the atrium with all of the plants. What a fun, neat place with so many activities to get involved with!

If you're looking for help regarding resources, outside of being told they have a computer connected to the internet, I would like to point you to the KDL branches or the Grand Rapids Public Library. Depending on the situation depends on the level of snark and dismissive remarks you will get here. I'm hoping this changes with better resources and training to staff. Cute kid section as well as a decent selection of kid books. Does not partner with Kanopy.

Very pleasant small town library. Our visits have been pleasant here. Of course they have wifi. The only reason that I am giving them 4 stars is because their hours are so abbreviated on some days. I work in GR and my schedule makes it difficult to actually go to this library at times. For example, it is difficult (sometimes impossible) for me to be there on Saturday before they close at 1 pm if I work until noon.
