Even on a chilly day, the outdoor seating is plush and the heating lamps will keep you fairly warm. Nice setting, but the food was dry and bland. The briskets in my salad were hard and there was barely any dressing and not even some black pepper. The pastry appetizers was nice and flaky craps to it but no dipping sauces or olive oil to balance it.

I have passed by the restaurant a number of times, putting it on my rotation of places to eat. I was waiting for my husband to finish with his appointment so I ordered the lamb salad at the counter, adding garlic fries on top. So much for my vow to stay low carb. It was mid-afternoon, quiet and warm, so I sat down outside, perfect for people watching. A server brought a large bowl of perfectly dressed greens with chunks of lamb, and a healthy addition of crisp garlic fries. The salad is a generous portion, more than I could eat at one sitting. It started getting to warm outside for me so I moved inside. Hubby finished his appointment and joined up with me, finishing what I could not. We went out of our way to dine at Souvla. And I would now say it wasn’t out of our way but the only way to go! It was phenomenal! The menu is basic with either a wrap or salad with choice of meat. We had one lamb salad and one pork wrap. Usually Greek salads are a let down but no. This was full, satisfying, and fresh. It was loaded with meat (which can I just praise because just because people order a salad doesn’t mean they don’t want meat- so thank you!!). It came pre-dressed but I actually didn’t mind it because it was the perfect amount. The radishes and cucumbers gave it a great crunch. The wrap was good too- the pork was cooked perfectly. The chicken sandwich I ordered was flavorful! The service, the location was excellent. I will be coming back here again and getting another yoghurt ice cream.

Souvla is such a great spot for a casual but high-quality meal! The food is always fresh, and the flavors are on point — I especially recommend the lamb sandwich and their signature salads. The service is friendly and pretty efficient, even during busy hours. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the portion size could be a little more generous for the price. Other than that, it’s a solid go-to for Greek food and a chill dining experience!
