M & G Burgers

This is the archetypical old hamburger place - the kind you see in films set in the '50s - with the requisite burgers, hot dogs, soft serve cones, and fries, all pretty good. They definitely beat McDonald's, because everything's made on the spot and the prices are pretty throwback too - this, the original M&G's, takes credit cards. They've got a few modern takes of fast food on the menu too. If you're thinking of a burger in downtown Fairfax, this is the place. There's another branch of M& G's on magnolia avenue Larkspur that's cash only, and just as good.

Yep…5 Stars! Been coming here since 1972. Has my first ever cheeseburger here. The quality of food has remained above average iber the decades which is great for an old fan like me! Bison burger is pretty tasty actually! But u usually go for the double bacon cheeseburger!!!

Solid burger. Really like the bun, the balance of veggies, size. I got the single bacon cheeseburger. The bacon is very good - dense, crispy, fits right into the burger. but frankly think it might be better without the bacon. Just doesn't necessarily make it better like other burgers do. That said, their onion rings are some of the best I've ever had. Crispy, evenly fried, perfect crisp brown, and all the perfect sizes instead of the unnecessary too small or too big onion slice. I mean, also who has a mocha milkshake? They do. Amazing

I love this little classic burger joint . I enjoy it each time I go. They have the basic classic burger joint menu . Burgers , shakes , grilled cheese and hot dogs to name a few. The parking is ok not too bad . Little but they have a few options in the area . They also have wonderful little screen on to watch a show while you eat . I enjoyed the food and the wait was not long at all .

Super old school joint. I had their 'famous' Bacon Cheeseburger and it was on point. Fresh everything and the bacon was nice and thick! Their fries are EXCELLENT. I'm definitely going to have to come back because there's so many other things I want to try on the menu. Dinged one star because they're cash only, and the ATM they have doesn't even work. If you're in the neighborhood, definitely check this place out!!!!
