Southfield Public Library

This library is chock full of cozy little nooks that most readers yearn for. They also offer lots of shelves for new materials throughout the floors, perfect for serendipitous explorations. If you’re a reader who enjoys literary adventures, this library is the perfect place to spend an entire day.

Beautiful library. Spacious. Lots of seating. Lots of outlets and comfortable chairs for remote workers like myself. Air condition is up way too high though. It’s absolutely freezing in some areas. Third floor seemed to be the best option. Everywhere else people are bundled up.

I went there to donate blood, it's a great library, but, I can't give it 5 stars because of their Ridiculous OPEN DOOR Bathroom policy! I Close it Everytime I use it!! Stuff happens very often because of this practice! Close the Dang Door! For saftey!!!

OMG my library in Southfield is so relaxing yet encouraging. It's a place where dreams come true and ideas and goals I put to the test in the pages of a book! Books to look up anything you desire for your goals and dreams. Or to sit back and relax go experience an adventure with a encouraging, relaxing,or exciting book, tree houses for quiet reading in a hollow tree, a sleeping dragon and a large throne for your Majesty to relax. Discover stories of old and new, some fiction and some true. Also the ladies at the front desk and Shori were absolutely awesome and helpful with my new library card. Thank you Southfield public library! You Totally Rock 😃

📖 This place is beautiful I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. Its absolutely huge 3 floors very updated tons of space if you just want to read 📕 or go with the kid’s they have a really nice and relaxing garden the place is quiet if you just want to study or something the staff are always kind and helpful prob the best library I’ve ever been too!! 📚
