If you're looking for a little hidden gem, this is absolutely the place. I'm so impressed with the passion Lisa has for her craft. She is so sweet, kind, and ferociously hardworking. The food was delicious and fresh. She even nailed the most important ingredient of sushi where most others fail, the rice. Texture, flavor, and consistency was spot on. I have so much respect for a chef that actually spices her food appropriately and doesn't rely on drenching every roll with mayo. If you're a local to the area and enjoy Asian fusion, you need to support this place with your business. I'm not a local, but if I was, I would be here 2-3 days a week. That being said, I will be undoubtedly be returning to this gem. The people need to give this spot the love it deserves.
First time trying & it wont be our last! We were looking for a combo option for a Friday night in & called to see what we could do. The owner offered a platter of 5-6 rolls for about $60, and we were happy to have her to prepare for us a “chef’s choice.” We could not have been more delighted! We received 5 rolls & her specialty - the “avocado bomb.” That is a MUST! It was delicious & so different! I cannot wait to try it again soon.
I hate to have to leave a bad review, but their spicy chicken "ramen" is literally packaged Samyang fire noodles that they are charging $16 for. They add fried chicken pieces and steamed broccoli but that's essentially what I make at home as a struggle meal for a fraction of the price. I think it's kind of astounding to serve that in a restaurant and charge that much for it. Just felt like I needed to warn other people who might have been expecting homemade ramen at that price.
The avocado bombs were delicious. Two out of the sushi rolls tasted rotten. The Avocado was overripe and tasted tart, and even when I took it out the fish tasted like the corner of Charlotte's pier and it's beach. Bad fishy. The presentation looked good and I wanted to taste good but at the end, I had to throw most of it away. Might try them again later.
Stopped in here after a recommendation from a user on my Town's Facebook page. I really enjoyed the food. I will definitely be back to try some other stuff. They're in the process of still settling and getting open, but food orders are ready to go. I had the BBH tacos and bao steamed buns. Great portions and delicious. Parking is kind of rough, but don't sleep on the kitchen because of that. Will update with pictures of food next time I eat there.
