Sora Sushi - Bend

Great Sushi! We went at 8pm on a Monday and the sushi was still exceptional! We got a variety of 4 rolls (picture attached) and it cost $48, so reasonably and worth the price! Would highly recommend!

The rice used for sushi and maki should ideally have a slightly firm texture, but here it had too much moisture, causing the grains to become mushy. The freshness of the fish also seemed lacking. I would only recommend the rolls, as the other sushi was below basic standards. The restaurant's cleanliness felt somewhat subpar, and the staff looked somewhat lethargic I just tried a simple $17.00 set and left the restaurant right after. I don’t think I’ll be visiting this place again.

The sushi was really good and like the options they have, I just would've preferred more unagi, spicy mayo, or stronger flavors. The service was also very friendly but pretty slow considering there weren't a lot of people there. Not really a big problem for us since we had the time, but maybe something to look out for. I would really love it if they said somewhere on the website that the conveyor belt only works during lunch hours since that's what we came for only to find out it was closed due to the sign on the window. If you can post the hours on the building you can also post them online somewhere.

Not for sushi snobs, but for those that want to satisfy that sushi craving (which can be overwhelming for me at times!) without breaking the bank. The conveyor belt is fun, inexpensive and allows you to have half a roll for five bucks instead of investing twenty books in a whole highfalutin roll. So you can same and experiment and fill up cheaply. I routinely leave after having paid only $20 total. But don't go there! You might crowd me out! 😂😉

Love this place! The food and service is normally great. This trip though, the fried chicken and fried roll i had tasted wierd. Maybe it was the breeding? I don't know... The tempoura veggies and shrimp were great!
