Gather Sauna House

Gather Sauna at Pioneer Park was a wonderful experience. I was honestly a little nervous at first about getting into the 38° Deschutes River, but the nearly 200° saunas—and the relaxed, welcoming communal atmosphere—made the cold plunge almost enjoyable. The staff provided clear, thoughtful instruction, and the accommodations were well-designed and comfortable. Even though it’s a very public setting, I felt surprisingly at ease the entire time. I stayed warm for the rest of the day, and my skin and body felt incredible afterward. I honestly wish I could do this every week.

I went to Gather Sauna House on New Year’s Eve for a group sauna experience, hosted by Halina, and it was such a beautiful way to close out the year. Everything felt intentional and well cared for. The space was clean, calming, and thoughtfully set up, and Halina held the experience with a grounded, welcoming presence. The group format felt communal yet spacious. The essential oil infused into the sauna water was subtle and grounding. The river plunge was just a short distance from the sauna, cold but invigorating, and the perfect contrast to the heat. The post-experience facial ritual was such a lovely way to close. Grounding, restorative, and genuinely well done. So awesome! We booked the private 1.5 hr session for a girls weekend treat. We all got about 3 cycles of sauna/cold plunge and it was delightful. The chairs outside were very comfortable to lounge in between sessions. Everything was very clean. Only downside was having to use the portapotty for bathroom. Otherwise everything was top notch!

This was such a great experience! We booked one of the sauna houses so that it was just our group and we were so impressed with everything. We were greeted by an extremely nice employee who explained the whole process and then the relaxation began and it was lovely! I highly recommend this!

What an amazingly well curated and thoughtful experience!!! From the fire heated (old school and superior imho) cute little cabin sauna things to the cold plunge right into the mighty Deschutes, Gather is therapeutic and delightful. The lovely lady, I can't remember her name but she was amazing, read us in thoroughly and in so many ways, kept the fires burning. It felt like a magical oasis! 10/10 will be going back!
