Sonny's Cafe

Our first time here , heard about it from a friend. We loved it!! Building is has some very decorations in it , old signs , old toys , and antiques. Service was very friendly and fast . We had a great waitress, she was very friendly and checked on us often. The food was great , we started with some calf fries . The chicken fried steaks was crazy big! My wife had chicken, it was very good too ! Can't wait to go back and try other items on menu.

I come here often because the food is great and the ambience is cool with garage signage and gas pumps and what not, just wish the wait staff were more personable, out of the five times I’ve been there I’ve had grumpy waiters always makes me feel like I’m a bother and inconvenience. The one highlight is the really friendly dessert 🧁 lady, definitely is a great example of how the wait staff should treat customers! Also be aware there is an extra fee for using a credit card! 🤨

As we were traveling up to OKC, we had this cafe pop-up on our GPS. We looked through their menu and decided we would love to try their food. It did not disappoint! This is the best cafe/diner we have ever been to! We had their chicken fried chicken as well as their catfish. Everything was fresh and crispy! The amount of food that is given to you is criminal; it will definitely keep you full for a few hours. This cafe keeps their old-fashion ways of seating yourself and paying for your meal at the counter. The waitress was nice but only came to get our order and to bring us food which was whatever because the food was a 10/10. Great atmosphere, place was warm and inviting. service was good and food was great. I had the special of pickle juice chicken strips.

Very nice place with a rustic feel to it. The food was wonderful. If you have read my posts, you know I love a good chicken fry. Chicken fry here was huge, and the breading was very well seasoned without the oily aftertaste. I like my okra really fried, and they didn't disappoint. Okra breading was well seasoned, also. The service was excellent as well. We're already making plans to go back.
