An excellent night out. The risotto was so comforting and paired deliciouslu with the Italian white wine. My husband enjoyed a thick cut pork chop with apples and ginger ribbons. The portions were perfect! We ended with the cheese cake which was excellent. I had heard complaints of it being a tight squeeze for space inside, but it was comfortable for a Friday night dinner crowd. We sat at the bar table and had plenty of room to enjoy ourselves. Our waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. She had a great sense of humor and did not hesitate to ask the chef about food sensitivity. Had dinner at Sonder Kingston and it was incredible. The beet salad with jalapeño cream cheese was unique and flavorful, and the thick-cut pork chop was perfectly cooked, juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. Great wine, calm atmosphere, and amazing service. Easily one of the best dining experiences in Kingston.

We had a great experience at sonder. The ambiance and food was very good. The sonder salad was my favorite - the entrees were solid and more generous portions than what I was expecting. Not overpriced and great quality/unique. Only reasons for 4 stars instead of 5 are service and seating. On resy I made a corner table reservation but got seated in between folks in the middle. Our waitress was nice but I think could’ve been more attentive. It’s the holidays though so giving some grace here! Overall I would recommend and come back ☺️

Had a delicious burger here (perfectly seasoned) and some super crispy tater tots that I pretty much inhaled. My sister had the brisket ravioli which was also delicious. The star of the meal for me was the dessert - I’m already craving some more of that bread pudding. Chocolate lava cake was also exceptionally yum. Recommend!

Simply enough - the food here is great. On a deeper level, this restaurant is very special, and you can sense the lore behind every dish and wine selection. We were lucky enough to have one of the owners as a server, and they told us the (hilarious! incredible! and heartwarming) stories behind each thing we ordered, from the shrimp cocktail to the burger to the chilled red wine. I am still thinking about the special cavatelli with charred asparagus and frizzled onions! I wish I could eat here every week but I will have to settle for planning to eat here every time I am back in Kingston.
