Sogno Toscano Market & Wine Bar

This little gem on Perry Street is one of those places you don't see on Instagram or in lists of great New York Italian restaurants but you're a fool if you don't pay a visit. It's especially nice to sit outside on a warm day but inside it's a wine bar, coffee bar, market and purveyor of the most delicious Italian sandwiches. The smoked salmon tartine will make you give up bagel lox and cream cheese. The schiacciate are packed with wonderful Italian meats and cheeses. Try brunch and have an exceptional mimosa. Coffees are perfect. Service is graceful. This is the Italian café of your dreams right in the West Village.

Outstanding food, service and atmosphere at this quaint restaurant in the West Village. I tried the Bolognese pasta and then had the tiramisu plus a glass of white wine. The restaurant does have seating outside and inside during warmer months. The food was perfection, I'll definitely return.

Came here with a friend. Place is a little tight seat wise but i got a nice little table in the back. Excellent waiter. Food is amazing and all fresh. A little pricey but worth it. The desserts were out of this world. Find yourself in the West Village this is the spot!

It was incredible. I am Italian and this place is one of the best italians restaurants in NEW YORK. Food very nice and people super kind. Diego was the best, he made us feel at home. I will come back for sure.

I had a really nice brunch here. The omelet was light and flavorful, with just the right amount of Parmigiano. The mortadella sandwich stood out too — great bread, fresh and chewy in the best way. The space has a comfortable, authentic Italian feel, and our waiter was super attentive and welcoming! Perfect brunch spot if you’re craving the real Italian experience right here. I’ll definitely be back!
