Lexi (and Emily and the rest of the staff) really made my weekend!! I was in town for Labor Day weekend and needed a good coffee spot. I went to So G each day and was pleasantly surprised each time! The staff was knowledgeable and had great recommendations, they were happy to answer my questions no problem, the atmosphere was really something (vibrant but relaxed,) and the espresso beans are unmatched! Absolutely delicious, especially for the price point. (An espresso drink and bagel w/ cream cheese for $8 is literally unheard of in 2025!) It’s a really special place and I can’t wait to return! I wish I could remember the names’ of the fellas who helped me on day 2 because they were awesome as well! Extra thanks and shoutout to Lexi for remembering my order from the previous day!

I’ve been coming here everyday for almost 2 years now and the team here at So G in Glastonbury CT never disappoint. They treat everyone like family, they remember your orders, and always greet you with a smile. Their service is great and extremely fast at the same time with care. Matt does a great job roasting the coffee in the dining room, as well as the girls Lauren, Robin, Lexi and Bridgette who take care of the patrons with love. Thank you team SoG!

If for no other reason, So. G Coffee deserves my business for price alone. It's been years since I've seen a double latte at this price. Broad coffee menu with all the options, iced & hot. Variety of pastries & steel cut oatmeal for noshing, but my tall cinnamon double latte was delivered at perfect drinking temp. Finally, the staff is friendly, skilled, and expedient. Don't wait, stop in today!

A really nice local coffee shop. Coffee is fresh and tasty (not pourover fancy like I usually like but good enough for this type of place. They had the roaster firing when I was there. Soups were good, pastries were fresh.

Revisiting my hometown. Decided to give this place a go as it hadn't been there during my time of residence in Glastonbury. Great coffee, friendly & helpful staff, great service. Very friendly patrons as well, found myself in a good 5-10 minute convo after purchasing my iced coffee. Highly recommend coffee quality and atmosphere are top notch, very homey feeling.
