Marina Indian Restaurant

My husband is Indian and so I get spoiled by delicious authentic Indian food often. This place is absolutely delicious! And the owner is kind and helpful. Will definitely be back.

I recently placed a catering order from Marina South Glastonbury, and the experience was excellent. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor—every dish was enjoyed by our guests. The packaging was very well done and kept the food warm for a long time, which made serving easy and convenient. Great quality food and professional catering service. Highly recommend!!

The Mutton Chukka was the star of the meal--so delicious! If you like spice, be sure to request it. The biryani and butter chicken were also really flavorful. While the Tandoori Chicken was soft, I found it a bit bland and wish I'd asked for the spicy version. Food was Soo yummy (as a person who cooks, I know craft in food) and definitely with a South Indian interpretation to classic recipes Not only was the food tier one (ordered village goat curry (coconut complemented the tender goat like a chefs kiss) and Peshawari naan (while I prefer nuts and less sweet, the bread was just the right texture of crispy and soft)), Marina's friendly staff also accommodated me with perfect salted lassi (not on their menu currently. Marina prepared it with green chili and roast cumin yum!) Unless I make it myself, it's been disappointing the experience with salt lassi I've had with most restaurants (last time was maybe 7 years back when I'd had something decent) ...Marina is even thinking of incorporating this in their menu (I shared that people want to learn

Our first time there. The food was amazing and so fresh! Kumar the owner was kind and made sure we enjoyed our dinners. He helped us select our meals. The nan was soft and delicious. The chicken tiki masala melted in your mouth. We loved the lamp fry as well. Great service great food! We ate inside and enjoyed the food straight from the kitchen!
