My wife and I got engaged here in February 2024 and returned recently as a married couple to treat our officiant. The ownership and management here are actively involved in customer satisfaction. A+ service. My only negative critique is that the gluten free selection doesn't taste all that great, but it's edible. As is the case with most gluten free food. My wife loves the regular (non GF) food
Food was fresh and delicious. The staff seems to enjoy working there and that impacts the vibe overall. I will go back.
Ok I got the Fish and chips. Legally you shouldn't be allowed to call this fish and chips. First of all, shoe string fries. Not chips. The fish is haddock which is generally the other type of fish and chips we live on the Atlantic but you chose haddock instead of Cod. Inflating the cost of the meal. It has a mustard binder and a type of batter without bicarb in it. All things fish and chips are not. And on top of that you dont serve it with malt vinegar. That's like serving a ruben with no russian dressing, an eggs benedict with no hollandaise, a caeser without egg and anchovies. Its objectively not what you are advertising it as. Call it a fish fry, because fish and chips it is not and even the manager knows that because he keeps a bottle of malt for the people that complain. The chef is
Great spot for any meal! Food and staff were excellent and the small details make it unique and cool! Photos don’t show how good the food looked but clearly show how good it tasted! Chickpea patty, frittata & lobster roll were standouts that we ordered!
We came for happy hour (3-5:30 in bar room only) and enjoyed three offerings—a steak taco, beef sliders with cheese sauce and steamed mussels with white wine, lemon butter and herbs. Each item was tasty. Nine large and tender mussels were super amazing—even the broth was delicious! We skipped on to dessert: creme brulee and New York cheesecake. A yummy finale!
