Pretty classic shaved ice options. The taiyakis are where it’s at though. Theres a bunch of flavors to choose from. They’ve got sweets and savory taiyakis. The ube and the pb&j ones were ideal. I’d skip the churro one next time around. It was a bit lacking in taste.
There are places you hear about in whispers. Reverent mentions in passing, like someone revealing a secret church where the sermon is sugar, and the communion is crisp, cold, and unapologetically indulgent. For me, that whisper led to Snowy Village on Grand Avenue in Chino Hills, a modest-looking dessert haven that could’ve easily been mistaken for just another trendy café if not for the sheer intensity of joy happening inside. We drove in from Orange County. Call it a pilgrimage, if you will. And Snowy Village didn’t just live up to the hype—it knocked it out cold, packed it in shaved milk, and topped it with fruit, condensed milk, and magic. Let’s start with the Bingsu. This isn’t your basic shaved ice with a couple of strawberries thrown on top. This is Korean-style shaved snow, ether
Sure! Here’s a reworded version of your message: I made the drive from Costa Mesa to visit this snowy village spot and it was absolutely worth it! I came to try their bingsu and French taiyaki, and also sampled their breakfast options like the spam, bacon, and sausage taiyaki—everything was incredibly tasty. We also tried the ube iced Vietnamese coffee and the banana matcha coffee, and both were amazing! If you’re in the area and have some time, this place is definitely worth a visit.
Taste :2/5 Environment: 4.2/5 Service:4.0/5 Snow Village – Cute spot, but the flavor didn’t hit for me 🍧 The inside is super cute and definitely Insta-friendly, but the matcha ice cream we made didn’t really taste like matcha
I love this place, it always hits the spot weather its for a tasty bingsu or a classic iced matcha. They have a variety of things on their menu including taiyaki which I highly recommend. The workers are always so great as well, this place quickly became one of my favorites
