Snowman

We love the snowman and travel from East Greenbush just for their ice cream so I decided to buy an ice cream pie for Thanksgiving. Sadly it was extremely disappointing. Almost no ice cream, thick frozen apples that never thawed out and very hard crunchy topping. It was a struggle to cut it and we let it sit out for at least 30 minutes. It also looked absolutely nothing like what they showed on the website for ordering. For the price I was expecting ice cream, not inch thick frozen apples.

Best ice cream in town! Black cherry, Cookie Monster and pistachio are so good!!! Also the peanut butter cup sundae with Reese’s crunches , peanut butter sauce and marshmallow sauce , whipped cream and a cherry on top was the best!! Nice service, the girls are really friendly, fast and efficient! The most importantly, they are generous with their scoops! Totally worth the trip for the ice cream!!! Parking lot can be busy at times! But street parking is also available.

I finally got to try the famous Snowman, a Troy staple since the 1950s! I sampled a couple of their flavors, and they were fantastic—offering all the classic choices. I went with the Coffee Oreo on a cone, and it was delicious—creamy, smooth, and satisfying. I love that they offer various ways to enjoy your ice cream, from mixing and matching flavors to dipping and topping. They even have a scoop and a half option! The scoops are huge, and the prices are very reasonable. They also have sundaes on the menu ^_^ It’s great to grab some ice cream, sit outside at the picnic tables, and enjoy the atmosphere. I would definitely visit again!

Love the snowman. This year it may have been 40 degree for the opening weekend. But I was there in line. The customer service was amazing as always and the ice cream is the best

Amazing homemade ice-cream treats. Excellent prices and worth every calorie. It's worth the trip during the summer to get some cool treats. Great big new parking lot for summer 23
