Snow Creek Saloon

Went there late as DD for group of Birthday revelers. Found that the Creek is now like Cali. Nothing but ageism I waited for a water while the bartender would not serve me. They just visited with their friends. I have been going in there since 1981. Ageism. I won’t spend another damn dime there. I’m so tired of this crap changing around here. It’s not a local dive bar at all anymore. I don’t care who owns it. It’s just another raunchy tourist trap in a town that will never be a touristy place. It is not a white fish and it certainly isn’t even a whitesulphur springs. It’ll never be Telluride it used to be the old Coal mining and cowboy community called red Lodge that cool, no more it’s a bunch of crap. Kind of a locals bar, but we felt very welcomed as tourists. Even better was that they are SUPER dog friendly, even giving our miniature schnauzer Seamus a treat. Full bar with several local Montana beers on tap.

Update , wow was in here again the weekend of August 5th on a Saturday night and this place was rocking. The band that was on the upper balcony alcove this lady had a set of pipes they were tearing it up This place was a lot of fun. Friday night was a couple wedding parties It was so packed we could not even get in so we went over to The Blue which also had a good crowd great bartenders What a great town.

Super great! The band on March 29, 2025 was super awesome!! DTR rocked out all night long! They should return again!!

I went here 15 years ago. absolutely loved it. COOL ATMOSPHERE. Live blue grass band was there that night. I requested blue moon of Kentucky and they KILLED it. Bought them drinks the rest of the night 🤣
