Lunch and dinner are just as amazing with generous portions of tibs, kitfo, doro wat, and so much more. Bonus: they serve ice-cold beer and a great selection of liquor, making it the perfect place to unwind. One of my Eritrean friends told me to go to this restaurant when we were talking about Eritrean culture. I’m glad that I listened to his advice because Snelling Cafe is the best African Restaurant that I’ve been too. The service is fast and the food portions are large. I love how the atmosphere feels extremely authentic and people are very kind. The first time I came here I ordered shiro and foule. On my second visit I ordered Fatta and Eritrean Tea. I was very impressed both of the times that I came. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try Eritrean cuisine.

Honestly just really good food in general! I was really excited to try something I've never had before, and they helped me with some recommendations, and everything tasted fantastic! They also had huge portions for the price too!

Good food and service for the value. Chicken wrap was excellent and the fries were fine. The Hot Chocolate took forever to cool down, but when it finally did, it was nice. Plenty of free parking. Lots of seating. Pregnant atmosphere and employees. No free wifi.

Customer service is bad. Food is fine but depending on what you order it's just reheated frozen stuff. I also feels it's overpriced for what you get. Fruit flies were swarming around when I went recently.
