Sweet Sensation Bakery & Café

This place is an authentic Mexican gem. We got their cookies and flan to go. They were so good. If you like Mexican pastries you should definitely go give them a try! Highly recommend everyone.

🤍LADS theme customized cake.❄️ I ordered a 6 inch cake cost of $35 plus $15 for extra decoration— Generally the price of $50. Really good portion with the combo of two cake fillings: Cajeta with Pecans, and Coffee Tres Leches. Amazing.

Been here 3 times and all 3 times I had a great experience. I was also able to order a tres leches cake and customize it on the same day. Any other Mexican bakery I’ve been to has not been able to do this. Also the cream of the cake is perfect! Not too sweet!

randomly came here for some bread, thank god google maps recommended me to this bakery. incredible service, the staff are so kind and gave me an extra piece of pastry the first time i came here! second time, an employee took the patience to explain all the different mexican pastries to me. the boon in the picture was 7 dollars, absolute steal and incredible prices in this economy! love love love, i’ll be here every weekend from now on and recommending this spot to anybody who lives in saint paul.

Came in two days before expected puck-up to purchase a custom birthday cake. At agreed upon time, was informed that the "bread baker needed the ovens and their policy was not to allow morning pick up. No warning about that when the order was placed. Advised I needed the cake for a party that day. It was agreed that it woukd be ready in two hours. I was offered a $5 duscount, later changed to $10--but a tip was also requested. The cake was ready and boxed below my sight line. When I opened the box I observed a highly decorated cake--not specs I requested but ckearly a real effort to make it special. Priblem was decorations disguised that the second layer not equal in size to the first had slided away from the top layer and chocolate shavings were slapped against internal white frosting-not
