I've been eating at Smokin buns for about a year now, not sure why I never thought to drop a review! Hands down the best BBQ around! Always hot, fresh, & delicious!! Awesome staff that are nothin but friendly, fast service, the atmosphere is great. I can't recall a time I've ever had a complaint! My favorite is the sampler platter and country fried steak (both pictured)
Good food, good atmosphere. I would recommend giving this place a try. We went for lunch and were instantly seated. Our drinks and the chips and dip came out fast. The rest of our food took a while, but not to long. My husband ordered the single burger with cheese, the chili and the small chips and dip. He wasn't impressed by any of it. His choice word was "bland" I tasted the tortilla chips, which had no salt but tasted ok, the cheese dip, I agreed was ok, not impressive, for the price it was decent, though the dip was very runny/thin and gritty. There was also plenty of cheese dip for it being a small. The chili tasted like regular under seasoned chili, not great but not bad, a dash of salt would fix it. I ordered the grand slam burger with grilled mushrooms. The patties were u
We got the sampler platter and the sausage was our favorite. Ribs had meat falling off the bones too. The apricot pie and ice-cream was so yummy. Our waitress was awesome and had a happy spirit about her.
The meat was very bland, there was no smoke ring on the meat so not sure how it was cooked, brisket tasted more like a roast, didnt even look or cut like a brisket, no rub on meat. The pull pork was tasteless. On the other hand the catfish was awesome. The slaw was perfect. Okra was just frozen okra deep fried but it was good. Service was excellent. Restaurant was clean and well maintained.
First time eating here. It was recommended that I try the catfish. So, I did. It was wonderful. Tarra was a great waitress and very attentive. If I'm ever in the area again, I will stop to eat. I can't wait to actually eat some of there barbeque.
