Fantastic food. The flavors were amazing and the staff were just as good. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and made sure our drinks were topped off and food was good. The owner or manager also checked on us as well. The price for what you get was surprisingly good for the amount you get. The building is a little outdated but who cares? The food is what matters. Will be back again

We had the best experience at this local North Carolina BBQ spot! Since we’re friends with the owners, they graciously put together an assortment of menu items for us to sample — and everything was incredible. The ribs literally fell off the bone. The brisket had the most beautiful color and smoky flavor. And the shrimp and grits? Absolutely delicious. They even bring out complimentary hushpuppies while you wait, which is such a warm Southern touch. The platter in this photo was a special sampling they prepared for us (not a regular menu item), but it truly showcases the quality and care they put into their food. If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful BBQ in North Carolina, this place is definitely worth a visit!

The smoked meats were so tender and full of flavor. The server made our dining experience second to none. The owner came out multiple times to check on us. The sides were homemade on site and the restaurant was very clean and welcoming. The service is what made our experience the best, she never acted like she was in a rush to get away from the table and took really good care of us. I highly recommend.

Great ribs, hushpuppies and sauces! The fried okra was perfect, not too salty but the green beans were very salty and mushy. I would go back and not get the green beans. Very tasty! Thank you!

We came in close to closing and felt bad but everyone was so so sweet and accommodating and the owner gave us his recommendations. Everything we got was amazing! I got the brisket and ribs and I haven’t had ribs this outstanding in YEARS. This was such a wonderful experience especially after the long day of hiking and traveling we had. When we visit NC again this is definitely on our list!
