McDowell County Public Library

Super friendly and helpful staff, cute building, larger selection than I thought there would be coming from a much larger town, also the interlibrary loan and hold system is great! Really enjoy this library.

Always a great place...by yourself or with family. Not only will you find books, but also audiobooks, movies, computers for internet use, and even a new seed exchange. Plus the staff is always helpful and friendly.

The staff here are amazing and they offer a nice selection of books, my biggest problem here is the hours of operation ( 10-5 ) I feel as if it being a public library it needs to be open at least by 8 am and stay open till at 9 pm.
