Smokehouse Pit beef

The pit beef and turkey sandwiches are great—thinly sliced, generous portions, and great flavor in every bite. Highly recommend!

It is certainly a good-looking pit beef sandwich when it comes out. The tiger sauce is some of the best in the area, and I'm glad they have a condiment bar where you fix the sandwich yourself. The French fries were solid. However, the pit beef sandwich had pieces that were either fatty or stringy. This made it difficult to enjoy the sandwich. One good thing was that the bun was big and hearty, and didn't break up in your hand as you were eating your sandwich. This is a common problem with other pit beef restaurants/stands.

The food is real good, but the girl with the skin discoloration on her neck ringing people up, gotta go. Loud and WRONG. If you order a side of gravy, it doesn’t mean you don’t want gravy ON your platter. It means in addition, I would like a side of gravy. She will shame you to where you and everyone within an earshot can hear her, even though the misunderstanding was on her. Train her in guest service and we might return.

My pitbeef was awful, it was burned and dry. There is nothing smoked or put about this place. My husband had the smoked turkey and again it was awful as we're the dry fries. Will not be returning to give our money away.

First time coming. I had a Pit Beef (medium) sandwich w/fries + Cr of Crab Soup. All were excellent. I should have taken a pic, but it was so good that I inhaled it before considering a pic. They have some different flavors of BBQ sauce as well. I mixed the "Secret" sauce with the OG BBQ. Next time I will probably be all in on the "Secret" sauce. It was great. The owner was such a cool person to takk with as well. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a Good Pit Beef and Soup desire. I will continue trying the different soups the next time I'm here.
