McRuta Halal Mediterranean Grill and Coffee Shop

For context, I ordered this from their food truck. I got a platter with falafel and it was SO tasty! The falafel (which is wheat free, gluten free, and vegan!!!) was delicious and fluffy, the pickled vegetables were the perfect complement, and both the sauces were so flavorful and perfectly balanced each other. The hot sauce packed a good medium heat, while the white sauce mellowed it out. The service was great. Fast, friendly, and very attentive. After ordering the falafel, they were so kind to make sure that I wasn’t vegan and that I still wanted feta. Will definitely be a repeat spot!!

Staff was very friendly. I got a lamb gyro, which was good, just needed a bit more flavor. Hot sauce took it over the top. It was VERY messy so make sure you have napkins handy. Prices are very reasonable. I'll second a previous review and say that inside could really use a little love. Music and a little decor goes a long way. I'll definitely be back.

Had the pleasure of enjoying probably the best tasting gyro I’ve ever had. They were the selected food truck at Baltimore’s Rash Field, Summer Jams by way of Waterfront Partnership. When they told us they were located in Middle River, I automatically said that it’s too far. Well now that I’ve experienced how delicious their food is, I’ll definitely be taking the ride. Thanks for great food and awesome service! You guys rock!

My cashier was very nice! I was surprised to find out that they actually use local coffee beans for all of their espresso beverages. They sell the beans too which is great, I got a bag! Food and drink were good. Lacking in flavor just a bit but very good. My only feedback about atmosphere is play music! :)
