Smokehouse BBQ

The food tastes good but the restaurant is just dirty. The floors look like they’ve never once been mopped and there just seems to be a layer of grime across everything. Maybe it’s suppose to add to the charm but to me it just felt gross.

Excellent food. Friendly staff, but don't go if you're not okay with waiting a while for your food. The Waffles and brisket was AMAZING. Very casual spot that feels like you expect a roadside BBQ/juke joint to feel. If you're looking for table service in a more refined atmosphere, Roadhouse on Savannah Hwy is also really good. Beaufort is lucky to have both these spots! And, Smokehouse PR also features DeeDees cheesecakes, YUM (but also, $$$$).

We are staying in town for a couple days for a Marine Corps graduation Our Air BnB was literally a 3 minute walk from Smokehouse BBQ when I looked up BBQ restaurants The reviews were pretty good so obviously I had to go Being in the BBQ business for 24 years myself, I had to get the sampler platter Ribs, Beef Brisket, Pulled Pork, Chicken, Smoked Sausage I had mac & cheese, collard greens for my sides Very picky about collard greens ( very good ) !! It was all very tasty with the perfect smoked flavor in the meats Met the owner which she was very sweet We talked BBQ and some personal stories It was a great experience for sure I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area Fantastic BBQ at a great price, great atmosphere, and great people serving you with a smile 😎 Keep it go

A small, unpretentious BBQ, restaurant. They seem to stay busy and it may be hard to get a table, but the wait is worth it. The pulled pork is tender and juicy and you get plenty of it. They have both a red and a gold sauce, both of which are slight sweet. I had cole slaw and green beans for sides and both were quite good. The slaw was simple with just cabbage and carrots and the green beans were nicely seasoned.

Im really disappointed. I had dinner here once and the food was great ! Unfortunately, two times I've been back and they were not open . Perhaps lunch is better but I wouldn't suggest dinner. Closes too early if they are even open!
