Maynard's Ice Cream & Cafe

The ice cream was good, we went there later in the evening on Valentine’s Day. There were two ladies working and they were a pure delight! I asked us questions, laughed with us and made us feel like family. I have a feeling they do that with all their customers, it just was really nice. In addition to ice cream, they also had little bracelets and Christmas ornaments and little trinkets for sale. If you’re looking for a souvenir while traveling, this was a good little spot.

I stopped in Maynard's Ice Cream & Cafe for a quick treat to go with my coffee before starting my day! Each time I step in the staff is ready with friendly smiles and assistance! They have some of the best pastries in Beaufort! I can never get just one! In my defense, I had to buy a few because the last time I stopped in a patron was buying the rest of what they had left. I recently moved to Port Royal, from Jersey. Great town. Found this place on one of my walks in the morning. I gave it 3 stars because it is a 5 minute walk from my house. I enjoy a good donut like the next guy, but not at 3 bucks a donut. Outrageous! I'm sure because the donuts are made fresh on the spot, so I guess they can justify charging such a price. This is just my opinion in. Make up your own mind.

They have lots of different ice cream flavors and smoothies also sodas, donuts and merchandise. The atmosphere is nice and also good customer service.

Cute ice cream shop in Port Royal. The ladies were friendly and allowed us to sample a couple of flavors of ice cream before deciding on “the one”. Ice cream was the perfect treat on a hot day. We were even able to purchase a bag of ice there as well. There was some seating inside and outside as well as a rest room.
