Smittle House Bed & Breakfast

Absolutely wonderful hosts, amazing dinner, and comfortable accommodations. The hosts went above and beyond, the dinner was 5 star worthy, and the house is full of history, a welcoming homey feeling, and tons of squeaks and groans showing years of welcoming gatherings. We most certainly will seek this home out in future visits to the southeast Kansas area.

A colleague and I stayed at Smittle House before a breakfast event we had in Columbus. The house was amazing, so much history and Lucas gave a great tour. The bed was very comfortable and the traditional fixtures in the bathroom were very cool. |Lucas and Jordan actually catered our breakfast event, and the food was phenomenal! Breakfast casserole, homemade cinnamon rolls and fruit. It was a huge hit.|Overall, great experience, would definitely stay there again!

Attended a 6 course meal with matching wines alongside my mom. Such a wonderful experience in a beautiful house. I learned of 2 wineries in KS that had wonderful dry whites of which I don't normally drink. I love reds, but truly enjoyed 3 of the whites that were served. Thank you, Jordan & Lucas, for a lovely evening!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The breakfasts was very very good, the room was great. the host and hostree was so nice. It was a beautiful home. We were there for five nights and they made us feel so at home. Will go back there when we go to Columbus, Kansas again. If you ever need a place to stay this is it.
