Smith's Restaurant

Per-freaking-fection! We are Northerners, turned Southerners, turned Northerners, visiting the Rocky Mount area to visit friends and family. We were blessed to find Smith’s restaurant for breakfast and everything was DIVINE. We need restaurants like Smith’s in Ohio! It’s a great model. You walk in and go to the right for takeout and to the left for dine in. The takeout line is genius. Cafeteria style with all of the best southern choices! Those who chose takeout were in and out so quickly! They all looked like repeat customers and looked quite happy! We had DJ as our server. She was very attentive and so quick in getting us refills and extras. My daughter got the 2 meat plate and I got the 1 meat plate. Mine included 2 deep fried link sausages which can only be described as

Best breakfast ever! Stopped at Smith's Restaurant while driving up to NY. Cozy atmosphere, great service, and the food was delicious. The sausage was very flavorful and had a nice snap to it. If an opportunity ever presented itself to go there again, we absolutely would.

We were on vacation. The food was delicious the environment welcoming the staff extremely friendly, great value for your money.

Generous Chicken Salad sandwich with fries for lunch. Simple menu, great food. Two thumbs up! Right next to the store on the left. Enjoy!

The best home cooked food, and best staff ever!! Very reasonable as well. Highly recommended!
