Neighborhood staple. Goood bagels. Very chunky. Toasted poppy w scallion creme cheese. I would have preferred the bagel a little more toasted. A little more crème cheese. Ice coffee was good. Also pictured is egg and reg everything bagels w scallion cream cheese.

So far, this has been the best bacon, egg, and cheese everything bagel I have had on my tour of food in New York. Classic bagel shop vibe. Quick friendly service. Clean and tidy. Fluffy big bagels! Tasty and comforting.

Ordered breakfast from Slims today and I gotta say come on man. Got a BEC on an everything bagel but asked for the eggs fried over easy. Tell me how they thought it would be a good idea to cut the bagel in half so when I get home the egg yolk has soaked in between the bagel and wax paper leaving it stuck on the bagel! We have the technology people there’s gotta be a better way…

This place went downhill. Got a bacon egg and cheese this morning. Was mostly bagel almost nothing of anything else. Plus the bagel is covered in some sort of oil on top. I’d prefer to not have my hands covered in crap when eating a sandwich. Definitely won’t be back here and this place needs to improve it this is how they make their sandwiches

Their grill food and coffee are good. The Bagels resemble thick rolls. The other slims in little neck make better bagels but they don't have a full service grill.
