Holy Burger (Oakland Gardens)

Always drove past this fast food burger spot on my way home and finally decided to try it with my boyfriend for pickup. The staff was not polite and couldn’t understand due to language barrie . Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. We ordered the cookies, chopped cheese, double smash onion burger combo, and onion rings. The chopped cheese and double smash onion burger were undercooked, although they were well seasoned. The fries were completely cold. The cookies were served warm, but when we bit into them, the centers were still raw. Why serve cookies warm if they’re not fully baked? Very disappointing experience. I won’t be ordering from here again and wouldn’t recommend it.

This spot quickly became one of my favorites with their amazing $5 chicken sandwich and the super juicy $8 classic burger. Their crispy onion fries and regular fries are unreal — honestly the best fries I’ve had in all of NYC. It’s also a great place for families, with plenty of space and a comfortable vibe. The employees(especially the manager) are always friendly and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. Everything is neat, clean, and well taken care of. And the best part is that all the food is freshly made, so every bite tastes amazing.

This is the best halal store I have ever seen in NYC. They offer gluten free food alongside vegan items. That’s actually amazing. I have tried their classic Burger, nuggets, tenders , beef sliders , double smash onion holy burger, loaded fries all are fresh and mouth watering. Highly recommended if somboday wants to enjoy halal food in NYC.

HMS verified!!! Holy Burger is worth the price but everything else: unnecessarily expensive. Great in-store promos. Homemade mint lemonade is reallllyyyyy good. Extra fees (credit card use and double the price in uberEats) is off putting. Team was very courteous about mistakes made during past order. Kudos!

I have only tried their fries and its divine, I got a small and its a good amount. It comes w/ a nice sauce. I really love the atmosphere, its warm lighting n really quiet, nice music, nice artistry, could almost fall asleep. Sweet service. I look forward to trying their other food. This might be my usual spot from now on.
