Siṃha Indian Kitchen & Bar

We recently dined at Siṃha Indian Kitchen & Bar and had an overall good experience. We tried quite a few dishes — the Gobhi Garlic was flavorful and well-made, though a few bites were a little soggy. Paneer Tikka was classic and nicely done, served with a tasty green chutney. The Chicken Cheese Burst Kebab had good flavor and melted cheese in the middle, though the accompanying salad—especially the lettuce—was wilted and not as crispy as we would like. The Dal Makhni was excellent — hot, creamy, and rich, like it had just come off the stove. Malai Kofta was flavorful, though a touch sweeter than our preference. Beautiful Space, Amazing Service! Attentive and helpful! I have an issue with cilantro which can often be an issue. The staff worked to find all the items I can order that either don’t come with cilantro or can be adjusted to make without! Everything was delicious! I loved the garlic Mushroom soup SO much! Rich and creamy! The spice levels allow for me to indulge in my love of heat without compromising on flavour! We shall be back!

Went there for dinner with a group of 15! They were very accommodative. Starters was good. We tried mint paneer along with onion pakoda( which was actually good with no excessive oil) For main course we tried their mix veg and paneer curry. Both were decent but the highlight was bullet naan which was very spicy! We tried garlic fried rice which was okay Coming to drinks we tried anarkhali( tequila) which was very good along with the presentation. My friends tried their beer along with mango and rose lassi which was a good try. They also gave complimentary gulab jamoon which was very good! Overall the ambience was good. If you're looking for a good Indian restaurant in downtown Providence with good ambience. This should a must try!

Our first time at Simh Indian Kitchen & Bar certainly won’t be our last! The Lychee Martini was delightfully served with a bubble on top, that burst just before I took my first sip that I then savored every drop of. My Shrimp Tikka Masala was the best I’ve ever had. My husband’s Butter Chicken was so yummy he was eating the extra sauce with the spoon. The Chicken Cheese Kebab appetizer was 4 yummy chicken meatballs stuffed with cheese served with a slightly spicy green sauce that makes the dish. Try the desserts! Different and delicious!

The restaurant has been open for a year so we didn’t know what to expect. The food exceeded our expectations! We had the calamari and samosa chaat to start. Amazing. For dinner we had lamb korma, mutton and butter chicken. Not your typical dishes but the meats were so soft and tender. We will definitely be back again!
