Sitka Public Library

A wonderful library with lots of natural light and an amazing view of the bay at the back of the library. You can find the talent of local artists on display as you enter which is always a nice intro to any library. Many books and DVDs and resources for all academic and truth seekers. I came to Sitka on a cruiseship and needed wifi as the ship only provides it if you're willing to spend a fortune which I prefer not to. I highly recommend this amazing library to everyone. 5 🌟🌟✨️🌟🌟🛳👍

During my visit to Sitka, I had the pleasure of spending a lot of time at the Sitka Public Library, and it quickly became one of my favorite spots in town. The building itself is modern and elegant, with a beautiful design that perfectly complements the surrounding natural landscape. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that's perfect for reading, studying, or just relaxing. One of the highlights of the library is the incredible views it offers. Large windows provide stunning vistas of the waterfront and mountains, creating a serene backdrop while you're engrossed in a book or working on a project. The natural light that floods the space enhances the experience, making it a truly inspiring place to be productive or unwind with a good read.

Nice library, loved the kids books area that shows the head of a dinosaur going throughout the roof. You are not allowed to take pics so that is why I’m not posting any. I took a pic of the little house that you can see from the library window. I’m thankful they let use people their free wifi.
