Sisters Thai food

Tried Sisters Thai Food for the first time today and it was so good! Best Thai food I’ve had in Lincoln. I tried a few things and all were excellent. The crispy pork belly pad kra pao was really incredible and I’m glad I tried something new instead of a normal ground meat pad kra pao. The medium spicy was enough to feel it but there was room to build without feeling like my face was melting (though it did make me sweat). Their Thai-style papaya salad is exactly how I like it, though I got a medium spicy and I’d add some more chili next time to balance with the sweet and tangy dressing. I got the fried chicken as well, expecting just one or two pieces for how low the price was, but it was two drums and two flats, plus sweet chili sauce. Yummy Thai Food. Please support local!! We had a great 1st experience this last Saturday evening. Its nice having authentic food that we didn't have to cook ourselves for a change. Very friendly. The cleanest we have ever seen this location as we live close to this spot and have tried other restaurants in the past. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

I would not recommend ordering from here at least what I’ve ordered. I had placed a DoorDash pick up for Boat Noodles, Papaya Salad, and Creamy Soup. However, when I got home and tried it, the food did not taste like what it should be. I’ve had these foods before when I was in Thailand and this is not authentic Thai food. I know the restaurant is run by Karen people, and I don’t think these foods I ordered were good. Perhaps their other dishes are better. Anyways, this is just my experience. I added a photo of the creamy soup I was suppose to get and instead got some mushroom watery soup.

This place is a gem. I had the Pad Kee Mau (Drunken Noodles) and samosas. The main entree had excellent flavor and veggies were cooked perfectly. Samosas also had a great flavor, were slightly on the smaller side, but also not expensive, so two orders would do. Staff is extremely friendly, fast service, and very reasonably priced! We will definitely be back!
