The Golden Chickens

Very tasty! The chicken was quite juicy and flavorful, no sauces needed but came with two. I enjoyed the green spicy sauce the most, like a mint chutney from The Oven. The fried yuca was extraordinary, I could have eaten an entire platter as a dessert. The lomo saltado beef was very savory and reminded me of Mongolian beef only much better. The French fries were perfectly cooked, not greasy at all. They were fantastic soaked in the saltado sauce. The pinto beans were more like a soup and much different than the Mexican style beans, that was a happy surprise. I wasnt a huge fan of the churro, it was filled with caramel sauce, however my husband enjoyed it. I thought it needed more cinnamon sugar. The owner came to check on us several times and was very friendly. You could smell the chicken

First time I ordered chicken it was flavorful but the food temperature was a bit low which shouldn’t be for the charcoal grilled rotisserie chicken. 2nd time I told them about my first experience then they served better chicken than the first time. Then we ordered tress leche cake which has some smell of garlic it feels like they put the desert and other marinated items together or without cover in the same refrigerator. They need to keep focusing on quality as much as they can, their recipe of chicken is good.

The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was full of authentic Peruvian flavor and tasted fresh. Everything we ordered was amazing. The waitress was very nice, friendly, and attentive. She made us feel welcome and took great care of us. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Absolutely fantastic food. The rotisserie chicken is some of the best I’ve ever had — juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The Lomo Saltado was excellent as well. And the churro isn’t your typical greasy, sugar-drenched dessert — it’s delightfully sweet with amazing flavor. Highly recommend! The service was great and the food came out fast. Zaily took care of us and did an excellent job.

We have traveled to Peru many times and this restaurant is the real deal for rotisserie chicken. It's so flavorful all the way through! My husband ordered the half chicken with fried plantains and I ordered Chaufa... which is Peruvian and Chinese fusion chicken fried rice. Fabulous!! We will be back again and again. Our server, Diana, was friendly and efficient. We loved it all. It's great that we have this awesome addition to Lincoln!
