Marcy is such a talent! She has great food-- the soup and baked goods especially. If I'm hosting meetings or groups, I LOVE to work with Marcy to cater the food-- pastries and egg bite for breakfast, cupcakes for book club, etc. A truly great spot in downtown Lincoln.
If you haven’t tried anything out of Marcy’s kitchen, you’re missing out!!! I first was introduced to her chicken salad sandwiches that she offers Wed-Friday for quick pickup during lunch, along with other options. It is not to be slept on and is absolutely amazing! Recently, we also catered in 3 different desserts of hers for a BBQ we hosted and they were such a hit, and were off the charts with how delicious they were! The banana pudding, peach cobbler, and carrot cake were phenomenal. Can’t wait to try more!! Also, service was/is always top notch. She offers convenient pickup, quick turnaround and response time, so friendly, and everything was fresh at pick-up and so perfect. 💯
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sweet Things by Marcy and meeting Marcy herself, who shared that she’s originally from Alabama and moved to Nebraska. During my visit, I tried two hummingbird cupcakes, a ginger snap cookie, a chocolate chip cookie, and an oatmeal raisin cookie. It was an honor to meet Marcy and try her creations. If you’re ever in downtown Lincoln, I highly recommend stopping by Sweet Things by Marcy
I’ve followed Sweet Things by Marcy for some time now and just haven’t found the time to stop in. I have been struggling with a cough and wanted something warm but tasty! This was exactly what I needed! The chicken and dumplings soup was so flavorful and absolutely delicious! The service was wonderful as Marcy was so kind. I even took home a tasty treat for later. Some yummy peach cobbler! Thanks for a great lunch! I’ll definitely be back!
We have been servings Marcys desserts now for 3yrs. We seen out as soon as we pick up. Highly recommend Sweet Things by Marcy. Not only is the desserts very good but Marcy is a genuinely GREAT soul.
